Hi, I can't add the project to BOINC on Linux. I get this prompt while adding through BOINC manager: Project not found The URL in BOINC manager is I think correct: https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/ I have no problems adding Windows machines from the same IP, so I think the cause is related to the problem discussed here. I was struggling to attach a host just now. I eventually used boinccmd, but now I get: 27 Mar 16:43 https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/ URL https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/; Computer ID not assigned yet; resource share 100 And I can't see the host on the DENIS website. |

I am getting a signature and checksum error and all the downloads fail. I don't know if this info will help, but one of my Windows 10 hosts immediately started getting work, it has BOINC 7.20. Another Windows 10 host had 7.16 and it would not get work. Upgrading it to the latest BOINC fixed it. None of my Linux hosts get work, no matter the BOINC version. Not to say that it is the fault of the BOINC version exactly, but perhaps there is some subtle change in how the different versions handle network communications. Other might know better. |

It is more likely cloudfare returning 403 page or similar. WCG showed similar bad responses when load balancers were overloaded and returned 503. Paul. |

I am running Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.10 (Ootpa) with 4.18.0-553.46.1.el8_10.x86_64 kernel. My Boinc server is 7.20.2 that is the most recent version for my Linux release. Starting yesterday or today, everything is working just fine an I am getting work units very fast and they run in about 15 minutes each, and report to your Boinc server. I happen to run four of these at a time.

It is more likely cloudfare returning 403 page or similar. no the app is being downloaded fine. it's a file about 4.8MB in size. so it got the file, the signature check fails in BOINC though. |

and it now seems that the project has disabled sending work for anonymous platform, so even with their app, i cannot use it and bypass the signature check. does the project want these devices to work at all? every attempt to get it working with your app fails |

Same error for me, in the past I could attach this computer from some days ago it started not to update, I detach the computer and attach again, and not able always, saying that the URL supplied not contains BOINC project, Using Boincview from another computer got: AddProject: Error - 224. Raspberry Pi 5 16 GB with NVMe Debian 12 Bookworm ARM64 under wayland BOINC 7.20.5 Spain Over Sailor's grave doesn't grow grass

I decided to set up a Windows 10 Virtual Box VM in a Linux host running Mint 21 as an experiment. The Windows VM is crunching away on the DENIS_Fiber_Beta tasks just fine as of this moment. So this might be a temporary workaround for those who don't typically run Windows. |

Running a Windows 10 VM I can attach and get work, but that means that I can give 3 cores to the project instead of 36. Across all users that means there are thousands of cpu cores that aren't able to get work. Very disappointed this issue hasn't been dealt with weeks ago. |

After dist-upgrade from Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS with Boinc 7.24.1 to Ubuntu 24.10 with Boinc 8.0.4 i can attach and get work. |
