Well since now that one stats site that WAS working has stopped updating, it does kind of matter. At the time I posted that, it was NOT working "fine" and had not updated in several days. |

Not holding out much hope the stats reporting will be fixed when they can't even stop the server from dumping phantom work units into my account. There's nearly four thousand units listed on my account that were never sent to me but which have somehow timed out no response. What a load of BS! Units like this one: https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/result.php?resultid=59231239 NEVER EXISTED. They were never processed because THEY WERE NEVER SENT |

Possibly a variation of CloudFare or similar breaking things, scheduler works but downloads blocked so units show as assigned to you that could not be sent. Paul. |

Any news on stats? I've been processing "fiber" for a week or so, and have run several hundred WUs to successful completion, but my credit total hasn't changed since before the start of the fiber project. I have had stats export turned on since I joined the project several years ago. Had hoped to see my credit score go >1M. Disappointing so far, as I have suspended all other projects, and Denis has dedicated use of my one machine. |

I have returned almost 7000 tasks aince the current set of tasks have been sent out. Yet I get no credit for any of them, as shown in my list of projects below.

I use BOINCStats because it gives me the summary I want without having to drill or search. Subjectively, that's the best for me. Over the past week, on several occasions, Free-DC hasn't been available to me, for whatever reason (I believe externally to my little kingdom). Subjectively, that's not helpful. Wherever the problem lies, and whatever the reasons for it's not yet being addressed, I'm happy to wait, as I'm sure all others are. It is to be expected that after such a long lay-off there will be teething problems in firing up the project again. I'm happy to contribute by crunching, and pleased to see that so much work has gone through already. The BOINCverse had started to get a little boring with so many of the projects not concerned with addressing the immediate problems that humankind makes for itself. Denis is a ray of sunshine in that respect. |

All that counts is that you are getting credit from the project for your work and that your stats credit in BOINC manager is tracking properly. We are here for the science not for the bragging and comparing against everyone else. I've been running on Rosetta since almost its birth and never once looked at my stats outside of the project or BOINC manager. |

You need to take your attitude down a couple notches.I have returned almost 7000 tasks aince the current set of tasks have been sent out. Yet I get no credit for any of them, as shown in my list of projects below. I would call FreeDC certainly NOT "the best", as other stated this is a rather subjective POV. For me, the site is much too convoluted. For me, BOINCstats is the preferred one, as that gives me an overview of all the projects I participate in quick and without a lot of the fluff that comes with FreeDC. Basically, you can turn it as you want, the DENIS site has some issues, still. I keep getting a lot of "can't connect to database" on various of the pages, and if for example the serve status page comes back up, it says everything is running peachy fine. Which it isn't. I got enticed to check in the forums again because I notices that on a host I was working on, a bunch of WUs either had successfully uploaded, where stuck while uploading, and none of them would be able to be reported. No clear error message in the BOINC client, so best guess is that there are still either problems with Cloudflare or some issues with the drive space, yet again... Ralf |

What does MS-DOS alternative have to do with this?Nothing, simply a typo due to muscle memory. I am for 30 years involved in the FreeDOS project and thus type that word a lot. And it has been already corrected. But then some bogus crypt stuff has just as much to do with DENIS... Ralf |

I am now getting stats using RPC and also the RSS news feed is now working. Whatever the IT team have done may have solved the export for others as well. |
