Hi tvdsluis, I'm uploading them now. You will get them soon. Best, Jesús. Jesús Carro Universidad San Jorge @InSilicoHeart |

Why are we running so many beta work units (almost 1 million WUs so far) and they seem to be the same thing? Are we running the same thing over and over again just for comparison purposes especially on the AMD64 Linux platform? If you are testing ARM, shouldn't the beta units be directed to the ARM platform? I don't mind doing beta but would prefer not to do the same thing over and over again. |

Thanks for accommodating the impatient such as myself this quickly. |

In addition, the output from the production work units have beta specified in the log file... Something doesn't seem right here. Seems like a worthwhile project but I don't want to waste computer time doing things that aren't really productive. |

Hi entity, The fact that the beta label appears in the production application log is because we forgot to update the part of the code that writes that line (it is the application that had previously been tested as beta). Yes, in the beta application the same things are simulated periodically for verification purposes. We are not only checking for ARM, there are also some units of work that give errors, very few, and we want to continue analyzing to minimize those errors. Also, we need to keep all the apps because if there was a bug on any or several platforms, is easier to find it thanks to cross-platform validation. However, no problem if you stop computing beta units, I understand perfectly and we thank you for all you have done so far. All the best, Jesus.

Work has gone quiet. ETA for new WU's? Working on data to better the world? I hope so! |

A reply would be appreciated. It's the weekend, he is probably not monitoring. Give him around 12 hours to get started on Monday and figure out what is going on. |

When will there be new tasks available? I guess when they send the next lot out. I was lucky enough to receive some today. Looks like you were lucky enough to pick up a few |

Hello Folks, As I am new to DENIS@home I wonder if anyone could tell about it being an intermittend project or not. I see from some comments that also others are asking for WU's. I was glad to be enlightened by anyone and also hopefully awaiting new work being sent. Cheers Chris |

I too am a new participant at Denis@home. In my experience, I usually get one big rush of tasks a week, although this week I have gotten two rushes. It is not my highest priority project, but my system is set up to process up to 4 Denis tasks at a time (while running other processes at the same time, for a total of 12 processes at a time). On my machine, each DENIS task takes about 65 tp 70 minutes to complete. (My most important projects are World Community Grid that has been essentially down for over a year, and ClimatePrediction that has not sent out any work in over a month and their web site has a security certificate problem the last few days, so you will frustrate yourself if you try to deal with them.) |

Yes it is a intermittent project right now. The last I heard they are still working on some aspects of the simulation. |

Admins could you please ensure we have tasks to crunch. It is a waste of money and electricity hiring computers from TheScienceCloud only to discover them sitting idle due to your project's lack of tasks. |
