1) Message boards : News : Beta Version of DENIS Simulator (Natrium) now running (Message 820)

It appears that I am unable to check the "run test applications" box in my settings. Makes it kind of hard to help test things. Can someone take a look at what is going on?

The link above works for me if I copy and paste in the address bar. I didn't make it clickable but it should work. Thanks for the approval.

It looks like your servers fared well. So, do you give permission or no?

We are considering the possibility of adding DENIS@home to the DC-Vault http://www.team-ninja.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=57420 . However, before we make any decisions we need to request the admins to give approval. Once we have approval the DC-Vault admins will decide if:
1. The project has met all requirements
2. The project has shown the ability to supply enough work for an ongoing challenge.
3. The project and the work units are stable.
4. The DC-Vault community has nothing against adding it.

All we need from you at this time is either a yay or a nay to us adding it. Please respond.

The main question I believe is which application they will use. There is an optimized version from the community that is so much faster than the original one. I think that there won't be enough work if they use this optimized version but maybe the team can provide longer running WUs (like they're doing right now) and more of them.

I don't think they will ignore an optimized client solely on not having enough work to go around. You probably didn't mean it that way but some actually do think in such a manner. Optimizing the client to the fullest means that the CPU resources can get more science done. If they run out of work, the resources generally in most cases go to other projects as a good amount of DC'ers support multiple projects.

I have tried increase my daily rac connect my all the computers what I have but I can not get over 12-14 thousand per day.
as if something prevented by increasing the efficiency of connecting other computers.
quite shocking.
My 12 core data barely 12 thousand rac per day for 24 hypertreading process. for monts..but/ass !
I joined for the 3 days my overclocked 8 core 5960x and my rac increased by only one thousandth + in few days... + 4820 HQ notebook core ...!!!!
It is something in this project nicely F**** and I'm not going to be further promoted this project.

Sorry to see a cruncher leave but not sad to see someone whom responds like this go. Perhaps you should have kindly posted in the forums first and users might have tried to assist you. I did see you had work units pending validation which may have been part of the issue you saw, but since you already stated that you are not going to further "promote this project" (assuming you mean support it) then it really doesn't matter now.
