I decided to set up a Windows 10 Virtual Box VM in a Linux host running Mint 21 as an experiment. The Windows VM is crunching away on the DENIS_Fiber_Beta tasks just fine as of this moment. So this might be a temporary workaround for those who don't typically run Windows.

I don't know if this info will help, but one of my Windows 10 hosts immediately started getting work, it has BOINC 7.20. Another Windows 10 host had 7.16 and it would not get work. Upgrading it to the latest BOINC fixed it. None of my Linux hosts get work, no matter the BOINC version.

Not to say that it is the fault of the BOINC version exactly, but perhaps there is some subtle change in how the different versions handle network communications. Other might know better.

Yes crashtech, I have stopped the project until all is recovered. I'm finishing, so in a few days you will have new tasks.
All the accounts created before 2017 have lost their credit but I'm working on recovery this information.

Best,
Jesús.

Hello Jesus,

I'm sure you have a lot to do now that the project has started again, but I did want to mention that I have 2 accounts with my user name still. I don't know if they can be merged, but my old one does have significant credit. If you need to simply delete it I will understand.

best Regards,
Jon

I don't know if there is any way to fix this?

Thanks for taking time to reply. I have a few machines ready to accept work when the project is ready.

All my credit disappeared and not even my account seemed to survive, so I re-registered and have been trying for many days to get some new work, but have not been able. Is the project stopped?
