I have some difficulties to finish WU's in time.

Is there a point to finish a WU/report a WU even if I realize that I won't make it in time?

Normally no as the Project would just reissue them to someone else once you, or anyone else, misses the deadline, but in this case the Project doesn't have any more tasks to give out right now......so depending on how long it might take then you might still get credit for them. Once a task is reissued to someone else the 1st person to return it gets the credits, normally that's not the person that already missed the deadline.

The one other thing going against you this time is this chart:
Tasks ready to send 0
Tasks in progress 0

Denis does NOT think ANY tasks are outstanding so it may have already written yours off as never coming back and if that's the case then NO you will not get any credits for crunching them. What I'm saying is that probably only an Admin can give you the final answer this time.

Your current task list confirms what Mikey said.

2 of the 4 tasks sent to your computer on 1st February have status "Completed, too late to validate" (i.e. repair tasks were created when your tasks passed their deadline and the were validated before your tasks were reported).

The other 2 have status "Not started by deadline - canceled" (i.e. a server abort was sent to your computer because the repair tasks were returned and validated before your tasks had started running).

If I would've completed mine before the others were validated, these would've been used instead?

I'm not that much interested in credits - I just don't want to waste the time.

Hello,

I hope that "the waste of time" didn't signifies a big problem for you, but anyway, our apologize.

We launch beta WUs with a small amount of time, because we tries to get results as soon as possible. In the other versions of the app, we will give more time to users.

The configuration of how credit is give to complete tasks is the default one, if a task isn't seems to be ended before deadline, new task is created and if the second one ends earlier, no credit is give to the slowest one.

Best regards, Joel.
