I self bought a little pc only just for computing for Denis !
I only wanted to say that I would be glad if we were able to see for what we are crunching here !

We are working on the progressmeter and to separate DENIS into different sub-projects, but have to do all and test it until we give it to you. We are an small team and we are working on other parallel projects that give us not as much as we want to develop DENIS application.

Incredible. GigaFlops is now some 93k compared to just a week ago before the challenge started at just about 50k. So well over 80% extra power. Inevitably once the team challenge ends a lot of that extra power will drift away. Meanwhile it is to be hoped that the Denis admins have enjoyed the extra pace, seen that their servers can cope, and most importantly have gained a better understanding of the science the project hoped to reveal.

It must be hoped that Denis has enjoyed having this team challenge, as much as the teams enjoyed pitting their hardware against each other. There have been some awesome displays of technology deployed.

I'm just a spectator of the team challenge, but I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Hopefully some of the new firepower sticks around for a little while longer.

I'm also intrigued to know what sub-projects might arise in DENIS down the road. :-)

A big thanks to all the people that participate in the challenge. We get a lot of information of this "stress test". Also you give us with your work, a lot of data that we will use in our investigations.

We collect the results and also statistics about the usage of the network which have been massive and enormous.

Again, a really really big THANKS!

Congrats to all participants in the challenge, and particularly to the winners Seti.usa who showed an awesome display of power to come from nowhere mid-mid challenge and yet wipe the floor with all.

Stats show gigaFLOPS rose to over 97k so almost doubling the Denis power. That is some "stress test". Well done to the Denis team for building a system that coped, you can go enjoy a stiff drink and leave the results analysis for a day or two.

I really enjoyed the challenge, congrats to seti usa. I'm certainly planning on maintain some output to DENIS for a bit longer, big thanks to my fellow team members @ OcUK they are a great bunch.
