Downloading the executable seems to be extremely slow. File size is only 2.38 MB so that is not the problem.

Edit: my BOINC client now even stopped the download after 20 minutes:

Manual download from the projects download page doesn't work either, so I guess my BOINC client isn't the problem too.

Perhaps some university limitations?

Edit2: the download now finished - after 44 minutes.

It can be university Internet service. Maybe there are some maintenance operations that we haven't been informed. If the problem continues in approximately 12 hours, we will search for a solution.

Those high number of accounts may be because we enable the wide-boinc teams in the server. I suppose that most of those users are the owners of the teams.

The problem for download was generate by a peak of traffic at university. We are using the same internet connection than other services and if the use a high percentage of bandwidth we will get download issues.

I hope that this problems occurs just few times and not with a large duration.

Well we are certainly trying to make the challenge part of the problem :) so far the server has stood up to everything that has been thrown at it ....
