Hi there folks, all the way from NZ. I downloaded Denis@Home several weeks ago but have not received any work at all. Shutting down all my other work and trying to download some WUs still produced nothing. Is there no work available? |

Shutting down all my other work and trying to download some WUs still produced nothing. Is there no work available? Currently NO WORK available and no clear answer when (or if) work will be available. You can always check the SERVER STATUS PAGE. I would just move on to other projects and forget about this one. January of 2017 that had a massive failure and since then, pretty much nothing. Also, early on they didn't exactly know how they were going to make the research data that was crunched available. So that is two big red flags there. What good is the research if the data it isn't available? If this project meant a lot to the researcher(s) then they would find the time. There are plenty of other BOINC projects that are active and have minimal downtime. |

@ChusCarro any chance to get some work or a statement on the future of this useful project. Reason: I'm looking for bio/health oriented projects and tired of primes ... your are one of the few potential BOINC project I think are worth to spend the energy on. Do you need help ? PM me ... |

World Community Grid has some interesting health projects running currently: mapping cancers markers, auto-immunity project, smash childhood cancer, fight aids and more. There is plenty of work to do! |

Joined this project specifically in honour of my walking partner who has atrial fibrillation, but looks like theres no prospect of any work, trying to decide whether or not to drop it from my projects list now |

There has not been any work form almost 6 months and no communication from anyone related to the project in about the same amount of time. Save your bandwidth looking for work at this project and consider joining one of the other drug/medicine/medical BOINC project such as * World Community Grid (WCG) - or - * Rosetta@home.

This January it will be two years since the failure that resulted in a lot of points lost along with some accounts. Since then there was a small sliver of work and that is it. There was also a change in who manages the project and that person doesn't appear to have time. So you need to ask yourself if your computing resources should go to a project where the person in charge doesn't have time and before doing maintenance they didn't take a backup first. With that said, all projects have issues. There hasn't been a single project that I've contributed too that hasn't had issues. The length of this one wins the prize though. |

It is now January 2019 and NO CHANGE IN STATUS. This is NOW CONSIDERED A DEAD project by some of the stats sites since there has been NO WORK/CREDIT IN 6+ MONTHS. There has not been any work for almost 9 months (since Mid-May / Early-June 2018) and no communication from anyone related to the project in about the same amount of time. Save your bandwidth looking for work at this project and consider joining one of the other drug/medicine/medical BOINC project such as * World Community Grid (WCG) - or - * Rosetta@home.
