Do you plan to stop 1.05 beta (wus very long) and pass the code to CRLP2011EPI 1.10 (smaller)??

Hi!
The code in CRLP2011EPI now is the same as in the Beta application. We are using the beta application to test the code under simulation conditions we have no checked previously to avoid problems in the production app. Now the differences are not in the code, the differences are in the configuration files.

Beta seems to be too much long for me (over 35h).
I'm waiting for optimized app

This is one of the few projects where Windows is faster than Linux. Running on a real core of an i5-3550 under Ubuntu 16.04, a 1.05 Beta takes 30 1/2 hours. Running on a virtual core of an i7-4771 (though with only four cores active, so that it is effectively a full core) under Windows 7 64-bit takes 19 hours. A small part of this (maybe 15% or so) can be attributed to Haswell being faster than Ivy Bridge, but most of it has to be because DENIS 1.05 Beta just runs faster under Windows.

That is fine with me; I have both types of machines available, it is just a question of how to allocate the work.

Agreed. They are definitely long! I don't blame you for dropping out. Thanks for the work you did contribute. The work you completed helped lighten the load for the rest of us.

At last check this morning, there were just 16 Beta tasks left to send.
