are detailing all of the new improvements, additions and features in MLB The
Show 16 in three parts. Here we will cover
Bowman Scout Day, RTTS Perks, and new Animations. Bowman Scout Day is a new
addition to Road to the Show this year which allows you to give scouts a first look at you to either increase or decrease your draft meter- or which round you are drafted in. Full series loads is a another improvement that allows you to play a whole series of games without ever loading
back to the main menu. Road to the Show unlock-able perks have been added to the game.
Perks are bonuses you get by training your bonus attributes.
There are two types of perks- passive and consumable perks.
Passive perks are never activated and remain in use
until the duration expires, whereas consumable can only be used once a game.
Routes to balls in the outfield have made for more realistic routes
and more over the top catches. On field personality is a huge addition to MLB The Show 16.
New home run sequences, and pitcher reactions to those home runs.
On base animations, player specific post game celebrations, and 50 new home run swings.

We are now within days of the official release
of MLB the show
19 stubs cost The Show 17, and the excitement levels have never been higher.
Before you start playing here are the Top 10 things you need
to know before buying the newest installment of The Show.
The Show 17 will be the first installment of the series to be made for only
the PS4. With San Diego Studios no longer having to worry about the old console, they can now
focus on making the best next generation experience that the franchise has seen so far.
In The Show 17, Diamond Dynasty is going to be at its
absolute peak. With over 700 new flashback players,
and tons of new missions and content, there is going to be plenty
to grind for in this years Diamond Dynasty experience.
Player models have received a huge upgrade in The Show 17.
Instead of looking rather soulless, players now are much more accurate to their real life counterparts.
Not to mention that the graphics have been upgraded as per usual, with better lighting and textures.
Franchise has also had some slight improvements made to it this year.
The player lock feature has been revamped to allow you to take over as a player for the whole
season, so you can take control of your favorite
players. There is also a new setting that allows you to control only the most important situations in games, similar to
what Madden 17 introduced last year.
One other notable addition is the manager mode,
which is a text based simulation style mode
where you can control things without having to play. After years of the same announcers,
things are finally being shaken up. Harold Reynolds and Dan Plesac are making their debuts as color commentators
in The Show 17. Hopefully they will bring some better dialogue and
personality to the commentaries. Along with the new announcers comes an upgrade to the presentations.
They have now been fitted with MLB Network’s looks.
This is another well needed update, as it strays away from the rather generic looking scoreboards and lineup screens that The Show has had over
the years. Retro Mode is one of the more interesting new features in The Show 17, as it is very different from everything else the game has to
offer.
Similar to RBI Baseball, it is an arcade style mode
that calls back to baseball games from years past.
This standalone gamemode looks to be a healthy dose of gameplay variety for the franchise.
Similar to the showtime feature added last year, the catchers meter
slows down the game and gives the player a better
chance to throw out a runner stealing. By putting the user in more control, it should eliminate plenty
of annoying moments caused by opposing team’s
baserunners. One of the bigger changes in MLB The Show 17 is the more realistic hitting engine.
Compared to older games, the ball will now slice and bloop more like it does in real life.
The developers have described it as more realistic, and that the old hitting was similar to a ball hitting a
wall.
The 2019 NBA Playoffs will continue through the month of May and so
will the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoffs Moments cards.
As of May 1, they released several new Throwback Playoffs
Moments player cards. In addition, gamers now have an enticing new NBA 2K19 Unlimited Reward to go after this month.
It involves achieving a perfect record, but the rewards available seem worth the effort.
On Wednesday, NBA 2K19 MyTeam tweeted out a photo of three brand new Throwback Playoffs Moments cards.
They include a 97-rated Penny Hardaway Pink Diamond in the mix.
A 97 makes sense as the 1997 NBA Playoffs were a
standout postseason for Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway.
In his team’s series against the Heat, Penny had back-to-back games with 40 points or more.
Pink Diamond Penny 🧀 New Throwback Playoffs Moments cards are live
in packs, including PD Penny Hardaway, 💎 Reggie Lewis and Amethyst Serge
Ibaka. Joining Hardaway in the latest release are a Diamond Reggie Lewis (Boston Celtics) and an Amethyst Serge Ibaka (OKC Thunder).
In the 1991-92 postseason, the late Celtics star achieved a 42-point game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Lewis also had six assists and five steals in that loss. As far as Mr.
Ibaka, while he was with the Thunder in 2011 he had a number of double-double performances.
Gamers can try to acquire these new Throwback Playoffs
Moments cards via the MyTeam Market in NBA 2K19. In addition, the Auction House
will have all three of the player cards mentioned above,
for a price.
NBA 2K19 also unveiled a new Unlimited Rewards deal for the month
of May. It involves achieving a perfect record of 12-0 in the game.
Achieving that mark in MyTeam over the month will achieve Pink Diamond cards.
Gamers will get a PD David Thompson and PD Manu Ginobili.

Manu Ginobili for going 12-0 during the month of May to
work your way towards Galaxy Opal Isiah Thomas! While the recently retired Manu Ginobili
is a nice addition, that David Thompson is a stellar asset for a
MyTeam roster. His ability to knock down threes can come in quite handy.
These rewards can be used to help achieve a Galaxy Opal Isiah Thomas card.
As mentioned before, not all gamers want to run with a point
guard of Isiah’s size on their squad, though.
However, many gamers want to load up their roster with those

adjustments this week with 34 player movements and 12 new players.
