Your personal background.
Sweden's largest nuclear reactor has been disconnected from the
national grid after a fault with one of its turbines.

Oskarshamn 3, located 140 miles south of Stockholm on the coast of the Baltic Sea,
was disconnected around 10.45am local time Wednesday.
It is not clear exactly what the fault is, a spokesman for the
plant said - but turbine failure does not necessarily mean an issue with the reactor.

The shutdown comes amid heightened tensions as Sweden tries to
join NATO and Russia engages in an energy war with Europe.

It also comes after Moscow was accused of blowing up the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea near Sweden and Denmark.
'Oskarshamn's reactor 3 is disconnected from the power
grid due to a turbine shutdown. Troubleshooting is in progress,'
Desiree Liljevall, a spokesman for the plant, told
SVT.
