| Description | AlleyCat Computer And Telescope Systems is a small manufacturer of AMD based Gaming, Home Theater, Astronomical Science, and small office HIPAA compliant Computers. In business since 1984 as an authorized Atari Computer Repair Center from 8bit 400/800 XL/XE, to ST, Mega STE, TT, Falcon, Hades, ATR 8000 Risc, and finally Atari PC IBM compatibles. After the first collapse of Atari I branched into my own line of IBM compatibles starting with my first AMD based 486 DX4/100 running Atari branded Windows 3.11. Our goal is to achieve the same build quality that made Atari's computer's among the most well made computers of the 1980s and 1990s. With the same eye towards innovation that led Atari to invent things like the mouse, Graphical User interfaces, CD-ROM drives, Video Telephones, and companies like Apple (which was formed with seed money from Atari given to the two Steve's as a going away gift!) I personally support the following schools Johns Hopkins APL, University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC)Physics Department, MIT, Caltech, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute RPI, Air University CCAF, eDX Harvard Computer Science Department I have attended all of these schools for various courses through the years. Having degrees from both UMBC and Air University CCAF. |
