| Description | enbla was founded in 2011 by Ollie Rosenblatt, Managing Director of the company. Ollie has always had a passion for music and for promoting and has done so since the age of 19 when he re-started a well known Jazz venue in his school theatre after it lay dormant for nine years. He restarted the jazz venue on his gap year and called the series Jazz in the Lund. It held monthly concerts at the venue for four years, booking and promoting the UK’s best talent as well as from overseas. After the first year of the concerts Ollie went to study music at Leeds University. Carrying on running the shows in London from Leeds, he also started running soul, funk and jazz nights in Leeds where he put together a band and created one of the most successful Sunday soul nights around. In 2009 he also started another London jazz venue at Ivy House in North London. Again, this hosted a range of top jazz musicians and ran successfully until Olli left University. On leaving University Ollie got the job of running the live division for the national radio station Jazz FM. Whilst there he promoted artists such as Al Jarreau, The Impressions, Eric Benet, Anthony David, Avery Sunshine as well as jazz gigs and weekly live and DJ nights at Ronnie Scott’s, Boisdale and The Roof Gardens in Kensington In the Summer of 2011 Ollie decided to move on and start his own company, a lifelong dream of his. Since it’s inception Senbla has been and is continuing to promote nationally some of the greatest artists in the music industry.
