He died the same way as his 2 brothers. heart related. That's why I crunch DENIS. 2 years ago I was rushed to hospital in an ambulance from work on two occasions...... Heart related, of course!!!! Eventually got to see a cardiologist and after asking my family history said I was at high risk of suffering the same fate as my father..... That day I handed my notice in at wok and took early retirement. Best decision I've ever made

Real crunchers are here to support science and in the case of DENIS@home - at least in my opinion - we support the most important section of science: medical research. That the project has maybe lost some data and was down for a few days, well such things just happen. As soon as the servers are on again, we will push this project further than it ever was before :-) Well said!!!! My contribution will continue..... the science matters, the BOINC credit does not!!!

(Message 1061) Posted 11 Aug 2016 by TheFiend Post: Looks as though they are starting to resend the Beta WU's that got aborted or timed out so it might take a while for them to validate... I've got 30 of them pending validation, some of the have been resent and some are still awaiting sending. With the length these Wu's have been taking it might be a while before we get credit for them.....
