I assume there are so many parameters and relations between them (also undiscovered) that it would be miracle if this worked at first time as expected. Also numerical errors play role and are not trivial to handle. Problems with server is nothing compared to the potential future benefits of results. It's normal that for DDOS-like requests server may sometimes be unavailable - it's not the problem, sending of results can be retried later.

If I understand correctly, algorithm explores more space than the neighbourhood of local attractors defined by the specific correlation of parameters (correct me if I'm wrong). It looks like the trend will be more smooth and probably will decrease the error. The next weeks will be very exciting!

The only thing you can do is to block getting new tasks from other projects in the main tab of Boinc. If you mean running tasks only for specific subproject belonging to Denis@Home you need to check only one checkbox in your account's preferences about subprojects.
