Stat's Export

Post: You have 2,366,624 credit. Your stats for your sig is broken. The best stat site, Free-DC, is working. Use that. "Best" is subjective. I use BOINCStats because it gives me the summary I want without having to drill or search. Subjectively, that's the best for me. Over the past week, on several occasions, Free-DC hasn't been available to me, for whatever reason (I believe externally to my little kingdom). Subjectively, that's not helpful. Wherever the problem lies, and whatever the reasons for it's not yet being addressed, I'm happy to wait, as I'm sure all others are. It is to be expected that after such a long lay-off there will be teething problems in firing up the project again. I'm happy to contribute by crunching, and pleased to see that so much work has gone through already. The BOINCverse had started to get a little boring with so many of the projects not concerned with addressing the immediate problems that humankind makes for itself. Denis is a ray of sunshine in that respect. |

Post: Any news on stats? I've been processing "fiber" for a week or so, and have run several hundred WUs to successful completion, but my credit total hasn't changed since before the start of the fiber project. I have had stats export turned on since I joined the project several years ago. Had hoped to see my credit score go >1M. Disappointing so far, as I have suspended all other projects, and Denis has dedicated use of my one machine. |

Post: I appear to have several days' worth of stats which show on my BOINC clients, but have not been uploaded to BOINCSTATS and other stats sites. But there doesn't appear to be a server status problem - there are no work units awaiting validation or assimilation. Have the stats scripts stopped running? |

Post: You need to give permission for your stats to be exported to sites like BOINCstats or Free-DC. To do this, of into your project preferences on this site, and check the box for "Do you consent to exporting your data to BOINC statistics aggregation Web sites?". 🙄 Thanks! I had forgotten that important detail. Have turned on test applications to see how the ARM version runs. Nick |
