Well, I have about 1100 WUs being added to "pending validation" and have yet to see a single new one being downloaded after uploading/reporting.

No, it is the same app, but we are trying a parameters in the simulation far away from the usuall ones. I don't know if it could generate any problem and I prefer to send in the Beta.

We are testing some modifications in the optimization algorithm, not in the model. It will requiere a lot of time.

Just under 3 hours on a Pi4 at stock 1500MHz, half an hour faster if overclocked to 1800MHz.
I expect at least twice as fast on a Pi5

I take this opportunity to tell you that the different variations of the optimization are continuing, in some cases it seems that we could obtain better results, but we are going to be cautious, when they are finished we will inform you of the final result.

It's rare nowadays that project spend some time to implement screensavers, it's a resurgence of the time when boinc was mainly ran in screensaver mode and volunteers would fear about "permanent execution".

Maybe some GPU tasks of some projects, depending on your configuration / GPU, will make that your machine lag a lot.

Maybe a simple restart of boinc server daemons will solve the problem....

We have returned from vacation this Monday. Before next Wednesday, we will launch a group of simulations again.

Click "JagDoc", click "Computer", watch for odroid clients, click "tasks". tadaaaa =D

I tested it now on Odroid-N2+, Odroid-M1, Odroid-C2 and Odroid-C4 running with Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS/20.04.4 LTS.
All work fine.

On the other hand, we have been working on expanding the number of platforms and we have added in beta mode an application for ARM64 on linux (e.g. RaspberryPi), and ARM for Apple (for new Apple chips). We want to see how well they work. If all goes well, in the short term we could also consider expanding to Android.
