I just noticed. I have 138 jobs waiting to run, been sitting there for days. The deadline for them is June 18th. Is this an error? Should I abort them and ask for new tasks? Is there a way for me to force them to run, early? In the meantime the computers are happily running everything BUT Denis. |

You can suspend other tasks/projects to force BOINC to work on DENIS. There are no new tasks to get so if you abort them they will end up being resent to other users. It's not an error, v0.04 tasks run 20-25x longer than v0.03, hence the massive increase in deadline. ![]() |

You can suspend other tasks/projects to force BOINC to work on DENIS. There are no new tasks to get so if you abort them they will end up being resent to other users. Thought about it. Then realized that the other tasks, and there's close to 800 of them, queued would miss their deadlines if I suspended them. So, I guess Denis will just have to wait and take it's chances. In my opinion they screwed up by setting the deadline so far into the future, i.e. Rosetta says to take 8 hours per task, Denis says 5h32m on one computer and 7h32m on another (same type of processor/motherboard). ![]() |
