We detected some issues about checkpointing on Windows version of the new app. We hope the problems would be fixed with this new version of the app.

The new app won't download. It (and thus WUs too) are stuck at 0% for the last 5 minutes. :/

Now, it works properly (Here at least) I've check to download x64 windows version and it works

It could be maybe a small issue in the university internet connection.

I checked the Event Log and discovered the work (WU) actually downloaded but since the client is stuck BOINC is showing Downloading for every WU.

Try resetting project and aborted the client download. Nyet.

Event Log is showing:

5/23/2015 1:56:27 AM | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
5/23/2015 1:56:28 AM | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

So looks like you (or someone) may be working on it...

I can't download the app. 0,77KBps on avg, 30% after 20 minutes.

Try just letting it sit and come back to it later. The first time I left it alone and I checked the logs in the morning it was about a half hour after I last checked it (although that it was somewhat longer from the actual download start time).

I wonder if the server is flagging the application since it is an executable. A wild guess is maybe it goes into some type of queue to be scanned for virus/worm or such... As I noted, the executable is not big so I don't think it would be due to the size...
