I was trying to crunch DENIS@home with a very modest Raspberry Pi Zero 2 (along the other machines I've already set up) but I'm getting the following message:

 [DENIS@home] Message from server: New human ventricular cell model needs 476.84 MB RAM but only 377.43 MB is available for use.

However, the models running on my other machines only use a very tiny amount of RAM, about 4 megabyte.

So, my question is, are these memory requirements too restrictive or does running these models occasionally require more memory?

Yes, for some simulations it is necessary much more memory. I will check if we can improve the estimation or we can reduce it, but not in the short term.

Thanks! It is not much of a problem, it is a very slow system anyway, but as it is idle most of the time (it is only used to turn some things on and off in a factory on an iCal schedule) it is the perfect candidate to run BOINC projects.
