That is quite bittersweet. |

The lack of communication from him seems off. I mean, he could just pop in, say that the results are out, then officially shut this project down. I'll still hang around as long as the website still works, in case this project ever comes back. As long as the website is still up there is still hope, right? It takes resources to maintain a website like this, the fact they are still willing to keep this website online must mean something. I'm not an old cruncher, but I've witnessed the death/hibernation of three projects so far. First theSkyNet POGS (completed, this is the project I sunk the most computing time into), Denis@home (seemingly abandoned), and now Seti@home(going into hibernation to process the results). |

Yes, I finished my thesis. But I have not been able to use all the power that this network provides. I have pending experiments and many ideas to do. Also, the final big experiment I wanted to launch had to be reduced and launched in a cluster (with the consequent invoice) to be able to finish on time. The thesis is published but I have not send the results to a scientific publication, yet. I will keep you informed. Sorry for the lack of communication. I hope, little by little, to be more active around here again. Jesús Carro Universidad San Jorge @InSilicoHeart |
