Same here after a reboot! :-) Also optimistic that the looping on this machine is fixed. Long way to go in the WU before I determine that, however.

Yes! We hope everything is solved, but we have to wait until the results come back to the server to determine that.

Best regards, Joel.

Just wondering what the Beta strategy might be. It seems like there are a handful of people Beta testing. The server status page shows 30 active users in the past 24 hours. That number has remained the same the past few days. There are fewer than 1,000 tasks in progress, and over 9,500 tasks still to chew through in this Beta test. Are we going to work through it all? Any way to try to encourage folks who dropped out of the test to come back?

My cycles are yours for the using, regardless. I'm just curious by nature. :-)

Hi!

We have deleted the un-sent WUS and remains crunching those that are in progress. We hope that those who wants credits re-assign their host to the beta now that is stable.

We want to keep crunching the rest of the WUs in order to find if there are more bugs. Also we are working on the bagdes for BetaTesters.

As said in other post, we will send more work when we want to test new things on the app, maybe in groups of task smaller and with larger delay time to answer.

Best regards, Joel

Any news? Is the app stable enough?
So, if the code is ok, sesef and others can start to study optimizations..

Thanks for the update, Joel.
I'm pleased to see that you've cancelled the remaining unsent beta WUs.
I crunched a few for you but they ran very slowly - about 24hrs each on my Core 2 quad Q9650 desktop @ 3.6GHz.
I think that's too long for beta units unless you are planning the production units to run this long and there are features of them that really need to run for 24hrs to test them.
So I decided to stop downloading new beta WUs until I saw some feedback from you, and I've switched back to crunching Fight AIDS @ Home for https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ until you have some new work for us.

Please keep us informed of progress often during future beta test and production runs. Otherwise we can get the feeling that our efforts and electricity costs are disappearing into a black hole.

Hi!

We think that is stable enough. We have upload the code few days ago to github in order to permit sesef and others to optimize it.

The length of the WUs have a reason, smaller WUs doesn't give us as much errors as longest, so we have had to try with that longest ones.

In a future we will start beta testing with shorter simulations and few of them a bit longer.

We are going to launch a bunch of work in stable version of the app, so stay tuned :)

Best regards, Joel.
