Hi there,

Just a quick question on this project.
My Macbook Pro M1 (Max) is downloading tasks intended for the Intel processor, is there any way to force to use the ARM binaries?
I'm running the latest version of Boinc (7.22.2) for ARM on MacOS 14 (Sonoma beta) if that's helpful.

Well, i'm sorry to have wasted your time because i just had to wait a bit longer. I got assigned ARM workunits now.

Well I'm going to reiterate the question then, because i'm getting intel taks on my ARM based Mac. I have X86_64 defined as alt_platform for other projects and for astroids@home I get arm64 tasks, but on Denis I get still x86_64 tasks. I also defined arm64-apple-darwin in cc_config.xml and put it at the top. Hoping that would help, but it didn't. Does anybody know how to get only arm64 tasks?

Thanks

For some reason it changed. It now used the ARM processor and not the Intel emulation layer. So I don't know what changed, maybe patience is the solution :-)
