Her research interests are focused on the application of computational techniques for cellular electrical modeling and for the processing of biomedical signals. She has participated in several national and international research projects. In 2009 she conducted a research stay at the Laboratory for Computational Physiology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and during 2011 and 2012 she worked as a researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford.
