Posted 31 Mar 2025 by FritzB Post: I've tried Linux Mint 21.3, EndeavourOS, Win 11 and Ubuntu 24.10. The first two don't work, the other two do. Client versions are 8.0.4, 8.0.2, 8.10.0, 8.10.4 and glibc 2.35, 2.38, (1.3.1 zlib), 2.40. So maybe it is somthing about the combination of client and libraries or just libraries. Just deleted and reinstalled BOINC 8.0.2 (EndeavourOS). Now it is using libc 2.41 and everthing works fine. So I'm quite sure that's what it is all about. |
