Allow new work. A load of units arrive, instantly forcing my system into panic because of the really short deadline. I'd set no new tasks and spent time suspending other projects work to clear my system of these damn units before the short deadline expired. No new set again.

I have accounts at MANY projects because I have been with BOINC since the environment started, (spring 2002), I was also with David Anderson's previous projects for distributed computing going back to 1998. If Kim is happy with this, it is not a bother to me.

If so, it doesn't exist anymore, it was an address I set up shortly after moving here, before I had registered my .dk domain. * Off topic * I had "subscribed" to the thread, (well... the "unsubscribe" poke point is showing...), which should send me a mail when you reply, but have checked my inbox and that has not arrived either.....

In first place I can see I am active, in twelfth place, I am not, BUT, am noted to be the team founder, (BOINC@Denmark). Despite indications to the contrary, there is only one of me. The absence of work has caused BOINC to go into a greedy state, but it will settle down quite quickly I expect, usually does.

Right now, there is no work being generated, so you can't crunch it, so you can't report observations or comments. Some post purely social messages, and why not, although not really number crunching. Make sure you are joined to several projects, that way, you can get work on a more regular basis. http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ Rosetta has work pretty much all the time. http://gene.disi.unitn.it/test/ TN-Grid is pretty reliable also. If you want to crunch with your GPU, CAREFUL, you can burn out your graphics card if you let it get to hot, dust etc. you could connect to Einstein https://einsteinathome.org/ or Milkyway https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/. There are many projects around.
